My Story

My story is in the Archives. It will help explain my motivation in creating this blog/journal.

Goals: Run, Run, Run!! (I think about it every day. Every day!) - 10K (at least 3 this year) - 1/2 marathon (outside of practice) - St. George Marathon (Ran a 4:24 it in 2004. Want to do it under 4 hours this time) - Boston Marathon (My life long running dream besides the Olympics.)

Day 5

1 mile - 13:30!!!! Wow!

And I felt terrible. I ate an entire bag of Circus Peanuts yesterday instead of lunch. I think I may have done better if I had eaten good things.

I LOST 2 LBS this week!!! Only 18 more.I pushed really hard on the uphills and relaxed on the down hills. I was going to walk another mile after the first, but was too tired. I feel good about the effort and over all run.

It was cloudy today and very humid.

Today I saw a lady walking up the road beside me, a lady from my ward, who said hi, but didn't recognize me, a man and woman running in front of me, a smashed Top Stop cup and straw, a newspaper (several pieces), a 2 liter spirit bottle, 2 smashed spirit cans (one from yesterday?), the running couple running toward me (the same that were ahead of me, they are fast), a few swarms of ants eeewww!, and a baby wipe eeeeewwwww!!!! And I felt my legs hurting! YES!
