4 mil - 39.06 min. (2 mile split - 19.10)
I was tired at first but then felt better as I ran.
There were not many people out today. It was cold at first and then it got warmer. I ran the same 2 mile run twice. Uneventful.
I did notice that I run with my right had in almost a fist and my left hand with my thumb up. Weird that I never noticed that before.
Yesterday I read an article in the Deseret News with the top 10 things you shouldn't do when you run. RUDE! I was shocked to see that an article like that was written. In my opion it discourages non-professional runners to even try to compete in any run. You should not run if: You like to talk with a friend, need to drink, have body odor, run back after you finished to find a friend, stop during the race, run at your own pace, have a cell phone, wear somthing other don't like, or do anything else that may bother other runners. (http://www.active.com/running/Articles/10_Running_Rules_to_Remember.htm)
In other words, the people who wrote this article think they should be the only runners out there. NOT!!! EVERY ONE should exercise however, whenever and in whatever they want.
Today I saw two women walking dogs and one woman running.
My Story
My story is in the Archives. It will help explain my motivation in creating this blog/journal.
Goals: Run, Run, Run!! (I think about it every day. Every day!) - 10K (at least 3 this year) - 1/2 marathon (outside of practice) - St. George Marathon (Ran a 4:24 it in 2004. Want to do it under 4 hours this time) - Boston Marathon (My life long running dream besides the Olympics.)
